Dear friends,

This week has been quite a rollercoaster for me - I've been nursing a hurt ankle (due to Jasiel dropping a glass jar on it) and so I haven't been able to run and instead I've been walking and resting so I can get back into the training soon. But at the same time my mind has been moving at 1000 miles per second trying to find solutions and direction for our business. 

At the end of this month, the de minimis exemption which allowed us to send most U.S. orders without duties, will now be gone for all countries. This will mean additional costs, increased transit times, and will impede the current way we ship our orders. 

While we're currently working hard on finding a solution (been on calls all week researching and figuring things out), we also know that we will need to say goodbye to some things in the shop, such as our Personalized Products, because after next week, since they will be coming from Canada, it will be much more expensive and time-consuming to ship

If you've been thinking about ordering something personalized, now is the time.

Next Friday August 22nd 10AM PST will be our cutoff time for the orders for us to finish shipping them. I've also reduced the personalization fee just to get things going! 

We're still prayerfully seeking God's will in all this.

It appears that moving some of our operations to the US could solve many hurdles, but it's also a big investment and would also mean we have to sort out what happens to our warehouse and team here. But God has been so faithful - just these past few days alone, He's strategically bringing into our lives to help us navigate this situation. Praise God for His amazing grace.
