A Bittersweet Farewell to this Product 💔
We had a funeral for our Brass Wax Seal Stove
Hi Friend,
Alternately, we also have our build your own mini wax starter kit and our brass spoon still available, and we will be coming out with our new stoves soon. They won't be all-brass though, but they will have a similar shape to our current ones, with more color options. In the past year, we've just had to make a lot of adjustments with our manufacturing partners to help manage rising costs, and this was one of those. But I promise, the new stove has its positives and it looks like we should be getting them in the next month.

I know using the Stove isn't for everyone either
I personally love using the glue gun method, which has its positives, such as speed and efficiency, but that's also why I literally have one for each of the wax sticks we have available, because changing colors isn't as easy like with the stove. It's also not as easy to marble colors with it. If you'd like to learn how to make wax seals with a glue gun, here is a tutorial.
With summer around the corner (or happening right now)
I would highly suggest going outdoors for calligraphy practice! If I'm not in the trenches of the sand pit myself (my kids love playing in it), I always bring my calligraphy travel kit with me. If bringing the ink along is too much, then I'll just use my favorite brush pens because it's just so convenient.

Father's Day is this weekend
I'm so grateful that I have this special relationship with my dad. As some of you may know, my dad was the OG entrepreneur that truly inspired me to start my own business as young as 7 years old and we often chat about many ways we can pivot and grow as a businessowner. A few nights in the week, I also help him out in the family business and I'm so grateful to be in his tutelage. Made this card for him with a picture of him and little me.
How are you spending your summer?
In about 2 weeks time, I'm running another half marathon, then I'm looking forward to toning it down for the summer and doing all sorts of fun things with the kids. This past week tons of my friends have been celebrating all sorts of graduations which is definitely bittersweet. We're working on a little surprise for our Creative Calligraphy Course graduates, actually, and we can't wait to share!
