Best Paper for Printing Calligraphy Worksheets and Printables
Earlier this year, I introduced our Biblical Affirmations Worksheets and Biblical Affirmation Printables, and I hope you had a chance to explore them. Recently, I’ve been reflecting deeply on these as we've just been hit, wave after wave, of various struggles - from sickness to accidents to attacks and so much more. So I hold fast to these truths as they have been my anchor, my comfort and guidance. Feel free to comment below and let me know how I can pray for you.
My Favorite Papers for Writing and Printing
As I continue to use these resources, I wanted to share some of my favorite papers and supplies that enhance the experience, whether you're writing or printing. Here are my top recommendations:
- HP 32lb Premium Laserjet Printer Paper: This paper is similar to regular copy paper but is slightly thicker and holds ink exceptionally well. It's smooth to write on and prevents nibs from piercing through.
- Strathmore Bristol Paper: Ideal for both printing and writing. I usually cut the 11x17 sheets into 8.5x11 for easier printing, and it works beautifully for both tasks.
- Slanted Guide Notepad: Our own Slanted Guide Notepad features slant guides that simplify writing. Additionally, our calligraphy practice pads are fantastic, and for a smoother experience, I recommend our hand-picked translucent vellum paper for extra practice.
- Midori Notebooks: These notebooks are a personal favorite for their quality and durability. Rhodia dot grid pads and Muji notebooks also offer excellent writing experiences.
- Traveler’s Notebooks: I always stock up on these beautiful journals whenever I visit Japan. They’re perfect for journaling and capturing memories.
- Neenah Cardstock - I love this brand for paper and is great for printing cardstock
