The Story Behind this Year's Advent Calendar

Last year, I had purchased an Advent Calendar for my daughter that allowed us to paint new things everyday. So that inspired our Advent Calendar, not only to learn something new, but also to help you pause and reconnect each day. This calendar is a beautiful way to celebrate the season. 

We started designing this calendar since December last year! It was quite a challenge to create, from the paper to the binding, to the perforation and pen inserts, etc. Will share more about the process soon! 

Will You Be Launching a Wax Seal Advent Calendar?

Yes! This year, we will have a mini wax seal advent calendar, but this time, it will have 12 new mini wax seal heads. We haven't launched it yet because we want to give this one much love first, and we also need to prepare for that launch as well.

US Shipments Will Start Moving September 12

This past week, we bid goodbye to 5 pallets of goods heading to our new warehouse in North Carolina! Praise the Lord! We're praying that the goods will arrive early next week, and that hopefully by end of the week we'll be set up and ready to ship our orders from the USA. 

If you've been reading my emails or watching the news, the de minimis rule (that allowed shipments less than $800 to go duty-free and without formal entry) was removed this past August 29 for all countries, which meant that we no longer can send out our shipments to the USA unless the duties were prepaid. This meant that carriers all over the world had to pause their shipments to the USA because the US government required them to collect the duties beforehand, and most carriers didn't have this system in place. 

This means that we need to wait until our US warehouse is setup before we can resume shipping to the USA. We've now resumed the items available on our website (some of them were missing since last week), but it does mean that we won't be able to ship them until September 12 at the earliest.
