From Sketchbook to Wax Seal 🌊🩵

Hi friend,

Over the years, so many of you have inspired the products we create. You've shared ideas, sketched concepts, and dreamed along us. Today, we're launching something that's especially meaningful because for the first time, these designs began in the hands of someone in the community.

Meet Roxanne Harrison. She hand-drew these beautiful coastal illustrations, inspired by the ocean we both love. Then, we worked to transform her artwork into detailed 3D engravings, sculpting depth into each design, making sure they will make crisp, beautiful impressions in wax.

It actually didn't start that way. As our treasured customer, we offered to create some custom wax seals for her, but we fell in love with her designs and it also reflected our beautiful Vancouver coastline, that's why we had to have them in our shop. And Jenny, our wonderful studio assistant, decided to pair the wax seal collection with this stunning blue gradient wax sticks, we're calling it the Coastal Breeze.

Jellyfish Wax Seal

Graceful and elegant, the Jellyfish Wax Seal Stamp features flowing tentacles, and a gently drifting silhouette. As beautiful as they are, I must say I have many memories swimming away from these. This 3D wax seal is very intricate, and with a length of 1.2 inches and custom shape, it includes a lot of detail.

Conch Shell Wax Seal

Featuring a beautifully detailed conch shell with sculpted ridges and natural curves, this design captures the elegance of one of the sea's most iconic treasures. Reminds me of my childhood walking around the beaches, collecting shells, and appreciating the treasures the ocean leaves behind.

This gradient wax stick set features a calming blend of aqua, seafoam, and deep blue - reminding us of the ocean and its ebbs and flows.

A sneak peek into what else we created for Roxanne

About Roxanne

Roxanne Harrison is a wife and a mother to 4 children to whom she homeschools. She has been drawing and painting ever since she was little. Her creative passion for art has grown into ventures with pottery, ceramics, crafts and in the most recent years, calligraphy and wax seals. The new puzzle I'm working on matches perfectly with this collection!

Recently, I picked up the Tofino puzzle by Villager because I just love visiting this beautiful place here in Vancouver. Just like this collection, Villager Puzzles features artwork from fellow Canadian artists. I thought our new wax sticks perfectly matched these!
