Curated and Created Just for Beginners

The past few weeks, I've gotten a few messages from friends and family asking me what would the kids like for Christmas. Yep, it's that time of year! As their mom, I get front row seats to what they like to do and what sparks them joy, and while I don't really think they need more things (they find joy in the smallest things, really) but I'd like to think that my suggestions blend a bit of what they need and what they want. Of course, I ask them what they'd like too! My daughter was eyeing the 36 bottles of acrylic paint that I had purchased for a workshop I was teaching, lol. 

But that's the same for us here at Written Word. I only really started to create calligraphy supplies when I started teaching calligraphy more and more, especially when it seemed like there weren't many beautiful and functional calligraphy supplies around. So I set off to curate my shop to include both beginner and intermediate users would need the most.
