It’s finally happening—I’m teaching my first in-person calligraphy workshop in years, and I couldn’t be more excited (and a little emotional!) about it.

This spring, we’re popping up at the Spring Collective, and I’d love for you to join us. It'll be happening at Another Studios, from April 25-26, 103 E 3rd Avenue, Unit 101. 

At this pop-up, we'll have a table with calligraphy and wax seal supplies for sale, as well as workshops for Modern Calligraphy and Brush Lettering. Enrolment is now open!

Modern Calligraphy with Karla from Written Word Calligraphy   

After a few years of teaching online (and welcoming my daughter into the world!), I’m back in person to guide you through the calming, beautiful art of modern calligraphy using a pointed pen, nib and ink. Perfect for beginners or anyone wanting to refresh their skills—plus, you’ll go home with your own starter kit!

Brush Calligraphy with Preet from Preetily Written

This fun and fresh brush lettering workshop is perfect for spring! Preet will guide you through the basics of brush pen calligraphy, from strokes to full words. No experience needed!

If you'd like to preorder from our shop and pick up at the event, we’re happy to do that too—just choose "local pickup" at checkout and leave a note! We won't have all the supplies available, so having the pre-order will help make sure that you get what you were looking for ;)
