The Final Personalized Advents Have Left The Studio!

Hi friend!

It's been a whirlwind week here - from travel, to personalizing nonstop, to packing and shipping your Advent Calendar pre-orders, as I finished personalizing the last of our Brush Calligraphy Advent Calendars for our USA customers! *

Every time I wrote someone's name, I thought about where and who the calendar would go, and how someone, somewhere would soon sit down to letter, and breathe, and find a moment of calm this December. I feel so blessed to be part of your calligraphy journeys.Ā

*P.S. Our Canada and International orders can still be personalized - just send us a note.

Can I Ask You Something?

Now that the last ones are packed and heading out the door, I've found myself thinking about something a customer recently asked me:Ā

"Would you ever make an advent calendarĀ withoutĀ Bible verses - for those who aren't religious?"

It's a fair question, and it made me pause. My faith is a central part of why I do what I do. I mean, it's where I started, writing His Word - it's what keeps me grounded, and especially with the Advent, which is literally about anticipating Jesus' birth. We do have products that aren't necessarily Christian-based either, but this year's Advent Calendar definitely has this focus.

This snippet even came to me in my Bible app, along with our church's sermon focus on evangelism this past month.Ā

As some of you know, I've been prayerfully seeking God for His direction for Written Word. Running a product-focused business is truly not for the faint of heart - as we navigate rising costs in products, shipping, tariffs, overheads, especially as a small business I'm really having to reevaluate our product line and refocus our energies because of our limited resources.Ā

I know I already sent out a survey recently but this is a new thing that I'm currently thinking of:

  • Would you like to see more faith-based products from me (like bookmarks, stamps, or stickers with verses)? Would a subscription of the like suit you?
  • Ā Perhaps would you rather see that as a separate collection or brand on its own?
  • Or would you prefer I provide options that are more universal?

You can simply email us (studio@writtenwordcalligraphy.com) or comment below to share your thoughts - I'd love to hear your honest feedback. Your voice really helps me shape what comes next for Written Word.Ā

With gratitude,
Karla
