Why we made our Anxiety to Hope Worksheets

Hi Jason, I'm writing this from my childhood desk back in the Philippines, where I grew up. The last time I was here, almost 7 years ago, I was knee deep in postpartum and anxiety, mind clouded by jetlag and exhaustion after two back to back traumatic hospital visits, and learning to keep a 3 month old baby alive. My parents and in-laws had already left for the trip before we left, so we felt very much alone in our struggle. But, by God's grace and mercy, the trip ended up being the start of the healing process. With things outside my control, I truly learned how to let go and let Him take the wheel.

The verses in this set of traceable worksheets were pivotal to my healing as they echoed the spirals I felt, as well as the overwhelming peace and hope I experienced as I rested in His Word.

Anxiety to Hope

Homecoming

Now, coming back to my hometown with my two kids, getting to explore my childhood home, where I went to school and church, and meeting my family has truly been such a heartwarming experience. I honestly can't believe that I'm getting to the halfway point in my life that I'm almost in Vancouver longer than I was back in the Philippines - truly time has passed by so quickly. Have you experienced "homecoming" or homesickness recently? Tell me about it by hitting reply.
