A weekend of slowing down

Hi friend,

This past weekend was a long weekend for us here in Canada - filled with lots of time with family (even my son turned down a play date because he just wanted to have a mommy-son date), long runs with friends, time well spent with friends.

One little moment that was so wonderful was when we were all singing along "older" worship songs from the 90's - like Michael W Smith, Darlene Zschech, Don Moen - those were from my childhood and I still play them on the piano and sing along them often, so my kids knew them, too. I'm sure some of you remember them too!

And that's kind of why I'm really excited about this whole Scribe thing - not only does it feel like I'm answering a calling, but it does feel like I've come full circle from where God has led Written Word from writing His Word when I was a young teen, to learning calligraphy and now I get to share it with you in a very tangible manner.

Our first mailing is closing May 20th

One of the reasons for this cutoff is something that we're going to continue to navigate as it will be going via "snail mail". Since we're based in Canada, mail can take between 1-3 weeks to Canada/USA. I know that's the point of snail mail, that you aren't sure when it'll arrive, but we also don't want you to wait too long. So the moment we hit the cutoff, we'll start preparing to mail as soon as possible.

The annual subscription is only available until tomorrow
