Each month, you’ll receive a thoughtfully prepared envelope designed to help you slow down, reflect, and write with Scripture in your own time. It's not just for calligraphers.

Life gets busy, and spending time in God’s Word can easily be pushed aside. Many of us want to return to Scripture, but do not always know how to build that rhythm into our daily lives. That's why we created The Scribe. Each month, we pair Scripture with real stories from our community, because we often remember Bible verses more deeply when we see how they have been lived out. You will also receive additional Bible Verses in a form of calligraphy worksheets, allowing you to reflect on each verse and meditate on its meaning through writing and tracing.
This is a simple way to spend time with God through Scripture, reflection, and writing - a creative and meaningful practice that fits into your everyday life. We included the stationery pieces as well to help you be reminded of God's Word as you go through your day.

How does it work?
Choose monthly or annual and sign up before the 20th of the month. Then, we prepare the month's Scripture, story and materials and assemble them. By the end of the month or at the start of the following month, we will mail it. Once you receive it, you can open it slowly, read, reflect, and write at your own pace.
If you order after the 20th of the month, you will be charged the amount but will not receive the subscription right away. For example, if you order on May 21st, you won't receive June's letter, but will start receiving it in July.
When will I be charged?
If you purchase before the 20th of the month, you will be charged immediately for the following month's mailing. For example, if you order on May 6th, you will be charged for June, then on June 20th, you will be charged for July's mailing.
If you purchase after the 20th of the month, you will be charged immediately, but will be scheduled for the following month's mailing. For example, if you order on May 21st, you will be charged, and your first letter will be July's mailing and your next charge will be July 20th.
Can I gift a subscription?
Absolutely and we love the heart behind this. Simply checkout with the person's name and shipping details, and leave the billing information with your information. If you put in your recipient's email address, they will receive all relevant subscription emails - so if you want to receive it, make sure it's your email instead of your recipient's.
Is it only for calligraphers?
No. There is something so therapeutic about tracing, as it invites you to slow down. Trace the words in the printed verses slowly, with a pencil, pen, brush pen or calligraphy pen - whatever you have, works.
I want to change something with my subscription. How do I do that?
You can make changes in your customer portal, or by clicking "Manage My Subscription" in your subscription emails.
If you'd like to cancel the order, you will need to do it before the 20th of the month. Otherwise, once this deadline has passed, we will have already packed and processed your order and therefore it cannot be cancelled.
For annual subscribers, this cannot be cancelled or refunded.
Please note: So when you cancel a subscription, it does not undo or void the existing prepaid order. It only stops any future billing cycles or renewals (if applicable). The remaining fulfillments that are already part of the prepaid order will still continue to be processed and delivered as scheduled.
In short:
- Cancellation stops future subscription renewals
- It does not impact or reverse the already placed prepaid order
- Existing fulfillments tied to that order will still be fulfilled as planned
