Family Calligraphy Practice

Now this is a rare sight! All of us practicing calligraphy together, and this one is using our Brush Calligraphy Advent Calendar (I printed it in bigger sheets for everyone). If you recall, Chase has been working on his lettering this summer, but of course Jasiel always wants to do whatever he's doing. Conquering the Grouse Grind with Chase!

I love summer because that's when I get tons of one-on-one time with my son, and we get to go on hikes together. We have a big list of the ones we wanted to conquer this year, but this one we really wanted to beat our last year's record, and we beat it by 16 minutes! Woohoo! The Grouse Grind is known to be Mother Nature's stairmaster - equivalent to going up a 160-storey building! So proud of him for powering through a tough thing.
