Truly, the reason why we put up these verses!

Earlier this week, I received an email from a Scribe subscriber and this is what she wrote:
I just wanted to remind you how valuable it is that the Scribe pack is centered on Scripture. As I was writing and reflecting on this month's verse, Isaiah 26:3, and thinking carefully about the wording and meaning it stuck out to me how this promise was made specifically "for those who trust". This promise is only available to those who trust in Him. The world does not, and can not, have this perfect peace–the peace that only the Prince of Peace can provide. It reminds me of John 14:27 "Peace I leave with you; My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Do not let your heart be troubled, nor let it be fearful." I am very grateful for His promises to us and I pray that many will spend time reflecting on His precious Word, growing in the grace and knowledge of Jesus Christ. - Tamaki
That very evening, I found myself struggling with anxiety after being faced with bill after bill and not knowing how and where we'll be able to pay it all off and just wondering, "Lord, what do you have planned for us?" I just felt like drowning in all the uncertainty, when I remembered this exact verse, Isaiah 26:3 and Tamaki's email earlier that day. But of course, when you're faced with so much unknown, isn't it much harder to trust? So I repeated and prayed over the worry with this verse, over and over again. And before long, I truly felt His peace overcome me and allowed me to rest.
Thank you, Tamaki, for writing to me and encouraging me because I truly needed that and felt God working through you by sending this note to me. It is so true that His Word is alive and that it's amazing to see how He works in mysterious ways. In the morning when I woke up, I put up the verse in a new spot in the house so that I could see it a lot, cause I definitely need the reminder. We do still have some of the

I guess, it's refining and pruning season again. This time of year especially tough because my time is even more limited - but richer, in many ways, as I look forward to spending extra time with my son while he's off school. But it's also the time where every cent gets reinvested back into new products for the fall/holiday, and truly just need wisdom and discernment on where God wants to lead Written Word to go.
