Brass material may develop a patina over time. Packed in a luxury paper box that doubles as storage. Nibs are not included in this pen. Due to the nature of resin, slight discoloration may occur on dried flowers. Please handle with care.

Where do I begin? Ok, so, I can’t tell what makes this one imperfect. I’ve attached a photo as reference. I’ll also add that my inability to determine why this pen holder is deemed imperfect speaks to the high standards regarding not just design, but quality, materials, and craftsmanship that Karla has established for Written Word Calligraphy. One thing about Karla is she’s going to ensure that every item meets or exceeds high standards. Period. She really cares about us as customers and our entire experience from opening the parcel, unwrapping our purchase, and the packaging design. Each order is truly a gift, whether it’s for yourself or someone else. The entire experience from browsing the website and receiving my delivery is well done, thoughtfully executed, and makes shopping online a pleasure. How Karla has managed to craft a peaceful online shopping experience is beyond me, but bless her and Team Written Word!!! Also, shout out to the team! You all are incredible. So, the Daisy Dew….The perfect ones are sold out at the moment — working on my patience :) didn’t/couldn’t wait for a restock — I’m pleasantly surprised and blown away by the quality of this perfectly imperfect pen holder I received. The pen holder is gorgeous, and the photos really don’t do it justice. Note: I’m also taking the photo from my mobile, so… there’s also that :) Either way, this pen holder is stunning and I don’t use that term frequently. This Daisy Dew is, by far, the most comfortable pen holder I’ve ever written with. Now, I’m not saying this as a collector or anything close to that. So, my experience isn’t a comparison to hundreds or even tens of pen holders, but I have noticed that most others I’ve tried (including in-person) are quite slender and don’t seem to take ergonomics into consideration. Even the ones that attempt a slight curvature, fall short compared to this Daisy Dew pen holder. Also, it’s so warm and comforting — I can’t explain why — and feels like a hug. It seems like I could practice forever, if time permitted, because my hand/arm never fatigue while I’m writing. This pen holder is unbelievably lightweight, too. I found that quite surprising! I can’t explain that, either. (Probably something to do with physics, but that’s not my field haha). What a delightful treat!!! If you’re searching for a gift for yourself of a loved one who practices calligraphy, whether hobbyist, professional, or somewhere in between, I highly recommend this floral line of pen holders, as I’m sure the Sunkissed Statice is just as exquisite. The aesthetic, quality, and comfort are unmatched. But, honestly, would you expect anything less from Karla? She’s a gem of a woman and I’m so glad I found her online. I’m excited for the opportunity to become a lifetime customer, exuberant cheerleader, and overall major fan.
