Parol Star Lantern Wax Seal

Growing up in the Philippines, the parol is such a familiar sight at Christmastime. These glowing star lanterns appear in homes, windows and streets throughout the Philippines and have become a beautiful symbol of the season. We wanted to bring a little piece of that tradition into our holiday collection—something that feels distinctly Filipino while still being a beautiful star design anyone can use and enjoy. I especially love how all the intricate details come through in wax, almost like the patterns of a traditional parol brought to life in miniature.

Bring a little piece of a Filipino Christmas to your holiday mail.

The parol is a traditional Filipino star-shaped lantern and one of the most recognizable symbols of Christmas in the Philippines. Seen glowing from windows, hanging outside homes and lining streets throughout the holiday season, parols have long been associated with light, hope and the celebration of Christmas.

Our Parol (Filipino Star Lantern) Wax Seal was inspired by the intricate patterns of these beautiful lanterns. The layered geometric details create a striking impression in wax, making it a meaningful finishing touch for Christmas cards, holiday invitations, gift wrapping and festive correspondence.

Whether the parol brings back memories of Christmases you grew up with or you're simply drawn to its beautiful star design, we hope this little seal brings an extra bit of light to the mail you send this season.

The wax seal is 1 inch in length with a white handle. The resulting stamp varies with the amount of wax applied.
